Beautiful hair is every girls dream and we all leave no stone unturned to keep our mane in the best possible way. The major issue people of all ages face these days is that of hairfall. There are lots of products available in the market that claim to address this issue. Today, I am here with a review on Organic Harvest Hair Fall Control Shampoo. So keep reading to find if this is a yay or nay product 🙂 –

Packaging- Organic Harvest Hair Fall Control Shampoo comes packaged in a tall, cylindrical transparent plastic bottle with a white pump which can be locked by twisting. Since, this is a really tall bottle I do not find it comfortable to carry along. I strongly feel they should come up with a smaller version so that people can try it out if it suits them and also it would be travel friendly.
Fragrance- The shampoo contains natural herbal ingredients like beetroot so, that explains why it smells different, weird actually. I did not really like the fragrance. I saw some reviews before purchasing this shampoo by Organic Harvest and everyone seemed to like it. It’s not strong but definitely not fruity or floral which are the kinds of scent I like. To each his own, I give a thumbs down to the smell.
Color & Texture- The color of the product is a beautiful leafy green. It has a gel based texture which has thin to medium consistency.
My Experience- It cleanses the scalp really well, removes all traces of oil and dirt but it does not lather really well so you might end up using a lot of product especially post oiling. Similarly, when I used it for the first time I ended up using a lot of product which ripped off the moisture from my hair leaving them dry.
Next time I was careful with the quantity but I still faced dry, frizzy hair problem. My hair is naturally on the drier side but my scalp is oily is so I am happy with the way it removes oil and dirt from my scalp but the way it leaves my hair is a disappointment. Now coming to the hairfall issue, I had mild hairfall post pregnancy so I bought this shampoo. I used it till the bottle lasted that was roughly for a month or two.
Organic Harvest Hairfall Control Shampoo did not do anything miraculous to treat my hairfall issue. I noticed a slight improvement, but nothing great. Since it affected my hair quality I was not interested in repurchasing. One of my friend had recommended this shampoo and it suited her. She used it for a whole year, probably that helped her as herbal formulations take time to show the effect.
Things I like about this-
- Free from chemicals.
- Mild and gentle formula.
- Sturdy packaging.
- Mineral oil and silicone free.
- Does not contain parabens and animal ingredients.
- Cleanses dirt and oil well
Things I dislike about this-
- Does not lather well.
- Leaves hair dry and rough.
- Not travel friendly.
- Did not like the smell.
- Not available in smaller packs.
- Slow effect on treating hairfall.
Wrapping it up- To summarize, I am not pleased with this Organic Harvest Shampoo at all. I feel hair fall is a very complex problem which any shampoo for that matter cannot resolve completely. We try all kinds of products to help us battle it out but this one did not help me. If you have dry or damaged hair, I recommend please skip it as it will further deteriorate the hair quality.
