“I don’t like chocolate”, said no girl ever (I guess)! 😛 I am a sucker for chocolate and stuff that contains it as it instantly lifts up my mood like no other thing. I love bath and body products that have cocoa butter in its composition, and picking Nivea Cocoa Nourish was a very quick decision considering its name! I have already reviewed the Argan Nourish variant on the blog; today I am reviewing Nivea Oil in Lotion Cocoa Nourish. Keep reading to know how it fared on me 🙂 –Price- INR 330/- for 400 mlAbout- Introducing the first* ever Oil in Lotion: Cocoa Nourish for Very Dry Skin-

-The formula with Hydra IQ, reactivates your skin’s own moisture network to give 24 hour moisturization with just one useIngredients-My Take on Nivea Oil in Lotion Cocoa Nourish- It’s available in various sizes but I picked the biggest size which is of 400 ml. It comes in jumbo sized white bottle and has a pump dispenser which has good sized hole for dispensing the right amount of product with every pump. The pump has a twist-lock mechanism that shuts it when twisted left or right, it is much needed as it makes the bottle spill-proof and travel friendly. The bottle reads that it is for “very dry skin” type.On the back side of the bottle there is an indicator which depicts skin feel from LIGHT to RICH, and this cocoa nourish lotion is marked on the 4th level which is very near to RICH feeling and that’s totally true. It has thick creamy texture and probably it’s the thickest of all Nivea body lotions I have seen and tried so far. You don’t need to put extra efforts in blending it into skin, it gets absorbed quickly. It has lovely chocolaty fragrance which is a treat to chocolate-lovers, but Hey! Let me clearly mention the fragrance is not as strong as Palmer’s Cocoa butter body lotion. The fragrance lingers on skin for few hours before fading away. If you try to sniff your skin closely you can still notice cocoa fragrance. It keeps my skin moisturized for whole day, by saying that I really mean it! It does wonders to my skin and I don’t get to see rough skin patches. I have used it in the peak-most winters as well, and it has done fairly good job.
The only bad I could find about it is the ingredients list, it contains a lot of chemicals including parabens which people try to avoid these days. I wish it had SPF which could shield me and would have made it easy for me to step in sun confidently.
