You might be thinking that I am from some other world as I am reviewing the Electro pop lip-balms instead of the newly launched Baby Lips Spiced Up :D. I have already got 2 for myself from the new range of Baby Lips but my immense love for these electro cuties made me write their review first, this range comprises of 4 beautiful neon-ish lip-balms. Read on to know how I found “Pink shock” variant from the Electro Pop collection- (Beware!! Lots of pictures ahead 😛 )

My Take on Baby Lips Electro Pop Pink Shock- This lip balm has a different packaging than those regular Baby Lips that almost everybody would have used. Like all other Baby Lips this one also comes in a twist up tube but has a transparent cap with brand and range’s name written on it. I love how the color of text on the cap depicts the actual shade that’s inside. Coming to the texture, I love how smoothly it glides on my lips and gives me a perfectly tinted pout and adds a glossy shine to it along with moisture, but I would clearly like to mention that to make the color show up gorgeously you need to swipe it for like 3-4 times. I have used tinted lip-balms previously also but none of them was as bright as this one to be honest. I found the fragrance to be more like candy than watermelon. 😛From a lip-balm I truly didn’t expect such amazing color-payoff! As per the staying power is concerned it stays for like 3-4 hours with light meals, and leave a tint behind. One thing I seriously dislike about this is that it doesn’t go inside the tube completely and I have to be extra-cautious while putting the cap to protect it from ruining.
Here’s a swatch of Baby Lips Electro Pop Pink Shock-
What I like about Baby Lips Electro Pop Pink Shock-
- Budget Friendly
- Adorable Packaging
- Glides easily on lips
- Good pigmentation
- Give glossy shine
- Moisturizes lips very well
- Leaves a tint behind after fading off
- Contains Shea butter and Vitamin E
What I dont like about Baby Lips Electro Pop Pink Shock-
- Doesn’t live up to its claim of staying on lips for 8 hours.
- The lip-balm doesn’t go inside the case completely.
