Is it just me who keeps bathroom shelf well-stocked with exciting bathing products or a similar bug has bitten you too? 😀 I believe, bathing is when we actually get time for ourselves during the whole day and it should be relaxing, isn’t it? I love indulging in shower gels and scrubs during showers at night, the refreshing fragrances used alleviate mood like no other thing! Today’s review is on The Body Shop Strawberry Shower Gel, here’s how it fared 🙂 –
Immerse yourself in the fruity scent of strawberry as you lather up with our soap-free bodywash. The body shop strawberry shower gel is perfect to nourish and envelop your skin in softness.

Love the packaging, clear bottle.. black cap! The bottle quality is so sturdy that you can relax even when it falls off from few feet 😀 . It’s secured by flip-cap which is super-duper travel friendly for it shuts very tightly.
Texture and Fragrance-
It’s a shower gel, thus the obvious gel-like texture! Fragrance is just too good. Sweet and strong enough to last on the skin for a while. Feels like a whiff taken in a farm full of strawberries.
I am an avid lover of The Body Shop shower gels to be specific, be it their simple packaging or various ranges, their shower gels are pure love! I have tried around 12 of them, and there’s no going back to other brands(except product testing, obviously). Strawberry is one of their most promising range and I have already tried the lip butter, body butter, body polish from the same.
The Body Shop strawberry shower gel like their others, lathers up nicely and cleans dirt and impurities off skin. Also, fills the bathroom with a lovely fragrance. You need a bit of it for each session, so it lasts for a good long time. Use loofah, if not available it goes well with hands too. The Body Shop shower gels give a slippery kind of feeling on the skin if not washed properly. It doesn’t have moisturizing properties, and you may need to follow up with moisturizer if your skin type is dry or you’re using it in winters.
The body shop’s shower gel bottles look so appealing when kept in bathroom shelves, a treat to eyes I must say.And oh yes! Follow it with Strawberry body butter, lotion, mist, EDT from the same range for that long lasting fragrance.
Things I like about it-
- Easily available
- Smells fantastic
- Priced economically
- Cleanses skin well
- Last on the skin for good hours
- Little quantity required per use
Things I don’t like about it-
- Contains SLS
- Contains artificial fragrance
- Feels slippery if not washed properly
Wrapping it up-
The Body Shop’s strawberry range is one of their bestsellers. I love using this shower gel, cleanses skin effectively and smells divine. It sometimes gives me slippery kind of feeling when not rinsed off properly. Can be drying during winters.
