Who doesn’t want flawless skin unless you are born with one? Fret not, we have skincare products that will keep your skin supple and soft. Since I have hit my 30’s I was looking for a cream that is revitalizing and replenishes moisture. I was scrolling The Body Shop’s website recently and was fascinated by The Body Shop Oils Of Life Cream. Let’s see what’s my take on it 🙂 –

Price-

INR 1895 for 50 ml

About-

This rich and silky daily cream contains a blend of three precious seed oils from around the world. It intensely revitalizes skin, replenishes moisture and revives radiance. The cream effortlessly melts into skin for a comfortable finish that feels light and non-greasy.

Enriched with Black Cumin Seed Oil from Egypt, Camellia Seed Oil from China, Rosehip Oil from Chile and Community Trade organic olive oil from Italy this Oils of Life Cream makes skin looks smoother and feels suppler.

Packaging-

The Oils of Life Cream comes in a white cardboard box which has all the information written on it like ingredients, expiry dates, price, quantity etc. Might not be travel-friendly as the cream comes in a glass tub.

Texture and Fragrance-

In one word – the texture of Oils of Life Cream would be “RICH”. The texture is so rich and creamy that it melts in your face like butter on toasted bread. Haha! The cream is rich, extremely light wight and not greasy at all. Now coming to fragrance, this cream from The Body Shop is spicy. It’s neither floral nor fruity.

My Experience-

I have a combination skin which requires extra moisture during winter season. Before this, I was using The Body Shop Seaweed Oil Cream and was quite happy with the use. The best time to take care of your skin is during the night. It is the best time during which your skin is relaxed and gets healed.

The Oils of Life cream comes in a beautiful jar which looks absolutely beautiful. The consistency of the cream is thick, rich and very moisturizing. It glides and melts in your skin like butter. Since the cream is thick in consistency, I was a bit skeptical as it will be greasy but it got absorbed easily. The Oils of Life cream has the goodness of three precious seed oils.

I have been using the cream since a while now and I do see a difference in my skin. My skin has become more even, it has not caused me any breakouts, it’s nourishing and makes my skin super soft and supple. Since it’s a unisex product, even my husband uses it. You just require a small amount and the product will last long.

Things I like about this-

  • Smells amazing.
  • Non greasy
  • Rich in texture.
  • Classy packaging.
  • Perfect for dry skin people.
  • Hydrates and moisturizes the skin.
  • Contains black cumin seed oil, rosehip oil, and camellia oil.

Things I dislike about this-

  • A bit pricey
  • Might not be suitable for oily skin people
  • Glass packaging makes it non-travel-friendly.

Wrapping it up-

The Body Shop Oils of Life cream has the goodness of three precious seed oils. This cream is thick, rich and very moisturizing. You just require a small amount and the product will last long. Loved the fragrance as it’s spicy and uplifts my mood. I would definitely recommend it. 🙂
