The Long Skirt Trend !

I still remember my teenage days when I was a proud owner of 2 long skirts ๐Ÿ˜› , though I always wanted to try out short skirts but I equally enjoyed wearing long ones. I didn’t even know the “F” of FASHION then ๐Ÿ˜› and paired it only with tops, but NOW that I see so many ways of styling long skirts I feel shattered ๐Ÿ™ . If only I knew these ways before, my teenage would’ve been much more interesting ๐Ÿ˜› .

Long skirt is one such fashion clothing that is loved by women of all ages, everyday you might see it being sported by a girl of 7-8 years to elderly women of over 50 years and it gracefully suits all of them if paired with the right choice of cloth to complement it. I keep looking online for the list of things/fashion clothes one should have in their wardrobe, and I strictly feel that a long skirt should also be there which can be paired with different clothes to flaunt trendy looks ๐Ÿ™‚ . ย With wide variety of long skirts available in Indian market at present, one can easily pick some simple ones for casual purpose like going to the grocery store, mall, running errands and all that; trendy ones for get-together and kitty parties, and some flowy ones with tassels and detailing for festive purpose. You don’t have to be a lady with perfect figure to wear a long skirt, if you are pairing it with the right combination you are going to get a lot of compliments ๐Ÿ™‚ .

Here are my most loved Long-Skirts from the house of BIBA-ย russian12064pnk-1-jpgwidth500height667scalecanvasanchorbottomcenterindigo12080ind%205-jpgwidth500height667scalecanvasanchorbottomcenterdesiopulence11007brn-f-jpgwidth500height667scalecanvasanchorbottomcentereclectic11783ivry-1-jpgwidth500height667scalecanvasanchorbottomcentercolorbl11441red1-optimized-jpgwidth500height667scalecanvasanchorbottomcenter

BIBA has some exclusive long skirts for women, including gold foil print with pleat detailing, ย plain ones with border at hemline, floral printed skirts and skirts made up of art silk ๐Ÿ™‚ .ย Earlier, long skirts were usually paired with tops; but today we have umpteen choices available. For a touch of ethnicity, you can pair them with short ethnic kurti tops, ethnic tank tops, ethnic jackets, stylish kurtas of various styles and a lot more. Even I myself have a fuchsia coloured long-skirt with block prints which I paired with a black kurti having slits in front this Diwali and of course compliments made my way ๐Ÿ˜‰ .

The Long skirt trend is here to stay! If you have a misconception about making sandals and flats compulsory to complete the outfit, you should break it right here! You can wear boots, gladiator sandals, canvas shoes, bellies and almost every other footwear you can think of with long-skirts. The type of skirt you are picking and the choice of top you’re making is all thats gonna matter. You can create “n” number of looks with long-skirts and sport some fun styles.

Do you have a long skirt in your wardrobe? Which is your most favourite skirt from the ones I have put above? Do share! I would love to know ๐Ÿ™‚
