I love “The body shop” body butters for their texture and hydration they provide, I was always amazed at these cute tubs from their lip butter range placed in baskets at TBS stores. I picked this Strawberry lip butter along with Honeymania lip butter as I found both of them fancy and expected them to perform as good as their body butters, keep reading to know how it fared. Also, you might notice changes in my post from today onwards as I am eliminating the likes and dislikes section entirely and summing up the good and bad in “My take” only. Happy reading!! 🙂 –Price- INR 350/- for 10ml
About- The buttery balm melts onto the lips for instant hydration. It contains sweet strawberry seed oil.
-Leaves lips feeling soft and smoothDirections- Apply to the lips as required throughout the day.Ingredients-My Take on The Body Shop Strawberry Lip Butter- This lip butter comes in small version of standard TBS body butter packaging. I find the packaging pretty cute as it’s very handy and fits any bag/clutch taking less space. It heavily smells of strawberries, so for a strawberry lover it’s gonna be divine. The fragrance it carries is similar to The Body Shop Strawberry body polish. It’s off-white in color, and the texture is very buttery which glides like dream on lips. I bought it while the summers were not over and it had a soft texture but as the winters are approaching it has hardened a bit.
I don’t really intend to taste any of lip-balm I apply, but I accidentally tasted it once and let me tell you it tastes amazing 😉 . The tub looks tiny in size but will surely last for a couple of months as only a small quantity is required, you may end up witnessing whitish cast on lips if you apply more than required. It provides good amount of moisture to lips and re-application is required post 3 hours. As for day-time usage I prefer a tinted lip-balm for a hint of color, and I think for me this can be a good lip balm for over-night usage.I feel it’s priced a bit high for a lip-balm, but products from The Body Shop are in no way cheaper. The fragrance of this lip balm might be strong to sensitive noses, and they might find it over-powering. I tried using this lip-balm when I had chapped lips as a result of seasonal change, sadly it couldn’t help me in getting them healed. I wish it really could, because that’s the second most important thing we expect from a lip-balm after moisture.

Overall, I found it just average. It provides moisture to lips but it didn’t help in repairing my chapped lips. For not performing well I feel the price tag is not justified.
