The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter- Review

When it’s about bath & body products, the first brand that pops up in my mind is none other than “The Body Shop” or “TBS” as we call it! I am a big-time hoarder of TBS products, and I have lots of them lying untouched/unused in my stash. Now that winters are approaching, I thought what else could be as good as using their range of body butters for deep nourishment. I am a big fan of their Satsuma range, let me tell what all I have from their range 😛 – Ummm a body butter, body polish, body mist and shower gel which makes me smell like fresh ripened oranges :P. I hope that proves my love for this range 😀 . Jokes apart! Today I’ll be writing about my experience using The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter which I have been using currently, keep reading to know more 🙂 –reviewwalisatsumabodybutter001Price- INR 1095/- for 200 mlreviewwalisatsumabodybutter003About- This rich and creamy Body Butter is a feast for the skin. It melts straight in to leave skin feeling soft and smooth. It contains Community Fair Trade shea butter and smells of fresh satsuma.
-24-hour hydration
-Great for normal to dry skin
-Fresh satsuma scentreviewwalisatsumabodybutter002Ingredients-reviewwalisatsumabodybutter004My Take on The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter- The most attractive thing I find about The Body Shop body butters are these cute plastic tubs, all the body butters come with a screw lid and the tubs are colorcoded as per the main variant. The body butter is slightly These retail for INR 1095/- but TBS keeps on presenting offers every few months so you can keep an eye and pick them on an offer price. I have three of TBS body butters- Brazil nut, Strawberry and Satsuma and I feel this goes lightest on skin from what I have. TBS body butters do not sink into the skin as other body care products, they do take time. The November weather is making my skin dry already and this body butter is performing well, but I can’t apply this in summer season as my skin stays normal. The temperature has started going down but this is treating me nice by keeping my super-dry skin moisturised all day long, I apply it after shower and I don’t feel like re-applying it for the whole day 🙂 . reviewwalisatsumabodybutter006One has to be cautious about the amount of product to be used as over-application results in greasy skin. The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter has strong orangey fragrance and manages to linger on for 8 hours easily , this strong fragrance may give headache to people with sensitive noses. I try enhancing the fragrance by topping this body butter with Satsuma Body Mist 😛 . This body butter would not be an ideal choice for people with oily skin, but YES it will serve as a saviour to all dry-skinned people out there. It truly is a feast for the skin 🙂 .

Here’s how it looks like-reviewwalisatsumabodybutter005I hope my review helps you out in case you’re confused about picking this over others or maybe in case you’re wondering how it will fare. It worked great on me but then, since we all have different skins it might not work the same on you. Thanks for reading this! Have a great day ahead 🙂 .
