Hello everyone, I am here today with another review. Few months back, Vishakha sent me another package of products for reviewing. Today I am going to talk about the first product from the package. So, lets talk about Simple Kind To Skin Replenishing Rich Moisturiser. Keep reading for more details 🙂 .
INR 385/- for 125ml
Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser provides care with a light feel on skin, leaves skin feeling soft, smooth and perfectly hydrated for up to 12 hours. Our face moisturiser is made with skin loving ingredients such as pro-vitamin B5 and vitamin E. Lightweight and fast-absorbing formulation that doesn’t clog pores, moisturizing your skin and keeping it pure and fresh. As for all Simple products, it contains no colour or dye, or artificial perfume and harsh chemicals that can upset your skin, making it perfect for even sensitive skin. Dermatologically tested and approved. Ophtalmologically tested. Hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic.
The moisturiser comes in a white plastic opaque bottle with flip-open green cap. The bottle comes inside a white cardboard carton. The packaging is minimalistic and simple. It is leak proof and travel friendly too.
Fragrance and Texture-
The moisturiser is fragrance free. The product claims to have no artificial perfume that can lead to allergies. Well that is a great thing for people with sensitive skin and noses but as far as I am concerned I like my products with nice fragrances.
The texture is of medium consistency. It is not very thick or runny either. The label says ‘rich moisturiser’ and I thought it must be a really thick lotion but that is not true. I like the consistency as it gets easily absorbed and does not leave a sticky feeling behind.
The moisturiser is great for everyday use. I was looking for something light and that gets absorbed quickly. This one does just that. The name might be a little misleading as it says it’s a ‘rich moisturiser’ but on the contrary its very light. I do not like sticky products especially during summer and monsoon months. The moisturiser is simple just like its name. No colour or dye, or artificial perfume and harsh chemicals. These things make it fit for sensitive skin beauties too.
You need a tiny amount for each use that gets absorbed super quickly without causing any sticky mess. It claims to hydrate your skin for 12 hours. I feel during summer months its alright but for winters this one won’t suffice. Also dry skin beauties may not benefit from its moisturising properties. Its great for oily to combination skin without a doubt.
Another thing I feel it’s lacking is that there is no SPF. I find sunscreens greasy and prefer using moisturisers with SPF. So, apart from this it’s a good product but I do not intend to purchase it again. That is all from my end 🙂 .
Things I like about it:
- Free from parabens and other harmful chemicals.
- Feels light and non sticky.
- Makes skin soft and smooth.
- Fit for sensitive skin people too.
- Minimilastic and travel-friendly packaging.
- Gets absorbed quickly.
- You need a very less quantity for each use.
Things I dislike about it:
- Not suitable for dry skin.
- Slightly costly.
- No SPF
Wrapping it up-
Overall, it’s a ‘Simple’ moisturiser just like its name with nothing extraordinary about it. If you like to use a basic moisturiser with no added chemicals and do not mind spending a little extra then this one is for you. If you like fancy products with extra benefits and nice fragrances then you might just skip it.
