I got this Seasoul dead sea facial mud mask as a part of my monthly beauty subscription service. I never heard of this brand before. One good part about beauty boxes is that they introduce you to brands you never knew existed 🙂 . Read on to know how it fared-Price- INR 3195/- for 200 ml (I have the 50 ml pack priced INR 995/-)About- Seasoul dead sea facial mud mask helps the dull & tired skin to heal & infuses essential minerals into the skin giving it a rejuvenated & nourished look with a natural glow.Directions- Apply a smooth layer on face & neck. Leave on 10-15 minutes. Massage gently using warm water & Wash off.My Take on Seasoul dead sea facial mud mask- This mask comes housed in a transparent plastic jar with a black screwable lid. It is suitable for all skin types and contains Vitamin E & fruit oils. The back of the pack clearly shouts it doesn’t contain parabens, sulphates, petrochemicals and phthalates which is a big YAY-thing 🙂 . I use masks on my face once I am done with cleansing and scrubbing so that they penetrate skin better. It is dark grey in color (it is showing up differently in pictures because of flash) and glides on face and neck effortlessly 🙂 . Initially, on application it gives a tingling sensation but that settles down in 1 minute or so. I apply it thoroughly and relax until dry. Since it is mud based mask, as it tends to dry it gives me the feeling of skin being pulled. It dries up completely in 15 minutes (Without fan/A.C 😛 ) , removal is easy but a messy task as while washing it off it creates lots of mess on the wash-basin 😛 and yes the black kinds water trickles down my elbows too 😀 . It gives me soft and smooth skin which I love, I couldn’t notice anything in terms of glow. My dry skin gets a stretchy feeling post wash, and I need immediate moisture. Moisturization cannot be skipped under any circumstance for dry skinned people. It made my dry skin drier and I feel it’s not something very much suitable for dry skin. Oily skinned people might love using this to get rid of excess oil. Overall I found it okay-okay only, it didn’t really help me in getting natural glow which it claimed about. This is priced way too high for a mask, if it really worked exceptionally I would have been more happier. One bad thing about tub based masks is that when they are in use, the whole product comes in contact with air and it makes it dry up fast. The same happened with me too, but I successfully revived it using rose water 🙂
Overall, it was just another mask for me! I expect something extraordinary at this price range. It dries out my dry skin; oily skinned people might find it good as it would help them get rid of excess oil.
