So, apart from Blue Heaven lip bombs we have these Organic Harvest lip balms in the market too which look similar to cult favorite eos lipbalms. I guess they were launched in December last year, I was not aware of their presence by the time I watched their advertisement on T.V 😛 . I was extremely excited to give them a try; they are available in 4 variants- Green apple, pomegranate, shea and strawberry. Today, I will be reviewing Organic Harvest’s Lip Balm in Pomegranate and Shea variant, keep reading to know how they fared on me 🙂 –Price- INR 149/- (as they are on introductory offer right now, but the regular price is INR 199/- )About Organic Harvest Pomegranate Lip Balm- A rich, natural moisturizing lip balm made with hydrating lanolin and natural waxe, helps in retaining water, providing long lasting mositurization, and removing blackness and dead skin cells.About Organic Harvest Shea Lip Balm- The lip balm with the goodness of Shea butter that locks moisture and prevent your lips from drying out.
Directions- You can apply it by closing your lips together like you are going to kiss something, or simply smile with your lips closed, and apply the dome to both of your lips at the same time.My Take on Organic Harvest Lip Balms- Organic Harvest lip balms come in an egg/sphere shaped container which is color-coded as per the variant’s name. The packaging of these lip balms is really cutesy, such a refreshing change from those sticks and tubes. The yellow tub is the shea variant and the other one is pomegranate, there are no artificial colors added to these lip balms. They are free from parabens, mineral oil, PABA and animal ingredients. To open it, you have to twist it and unscrew 🙂 , inside you’ll find off-white colored dome-shaped lip balm 🙂 .Even in this super-hot temperature they aren’t melting, such a winner 🙂 . Both of these Organic Harvest lip balms have sweet scent, the pomegranate one has got strong fruity scent whereas the shea variant has a sweet mild fragrance. Love how they keep my lips moisturized for around 4 hours or so. The fragrance stays on lips for some time and then vanishes. As you will swipe it over your lips, you will not witness a glossy sheen, it will get absorbed into your lips quickly to keep them moisturized. One thing I love about these lip balms is that they are such a good companion to my lipsticks, every time I am wearing a matte lipstick I make sure I put this on to moisturize my lips so that my lipstick doesn’t dry out my lips crazily. If I had to choose one out of these two, I would be biased towards the pomegranate one (It smells amazing, I tell you!) 😉 . I have used the shea variant during chapped-lips-phase and it really helped out in healing my lips and making them look better and smoother. Both of these lip-balms work the same way, however the pomegranate one claims to be helpful in removing blackness which I can’t comment on as I don’t have lip darkening issue. This lip-balm doesn’t come with SPF, also I couldn’t find anywhere on the pack what quantity is provided in this lip-balm. If you are looking for lip-balms in a budget range which actually works, you need not to look anywhere else as organic harvest lip balms are there to end your search. Their all products are organic and natural; they believe in putting the power of plants in all their products. If you wish to add these to your kitty, buy it before the introductory offer gets over as you’ll save INR 50/- straight away 🙂 . These lip balms are widely available and can be bought from Organic Harvest’s own website as well as from e-commerce websites like Amazon, flipkart etc. You should buy and try one! 🙂
