Hand cream is a staple in skincare, let the season be any(for me at least). Since I’m blessed with super dry hands, plus daily engagement in work and household chores hence make hand creams a must thing in my daily regime. I love trying out hand creams from different brands as I haven’t found a holy grail yet, I have 5 more I assume 😛 ! This one by Nykaa was gifted to me by my BFF, Finally I’ve used it enough to jot down my experience on it 😊 –
Experience the old-world romance with the sun-drenched Jasmine blended with eccentric Neroli. Jasmine brings a delicate whiff of innocence, while Neroli adds a dash of enchantment to this beautiful blend.
INR 275/- for 30 ml
To be honest, there’s nothing unique about it. It’s packed just like other hand creams with same hexagonal screw cap, just beautiful print on top of tube which makes it eye-catchy. The tube’s mouth comes sealed with a silver foil though.
Texture and Fragrance-
Comes out of the tube very easily with slight pressure which means it’s not very thick. The fragrance is divine, pick thoughtlessly if you like lavender even a bit !
Nykaa French Lavender & Honey Hand & Nail Crème comes in a inverted tube form. This hand cream has this lavender-ish hue which I find appealing. I massage it on my palms and nails. The shine it adds to my nails is what I go crazy for. Just love how quickly it gets into the skin without leaving crazy oily residue. Hands don’t feel sticky and greasy at all. Moreover, reapplication is needed every 4-5 hours depending upon how engaged you are in daily chores. It smells very fresh and divine to me, however fades away quickly. I totally enjoyed using this one. But you can’t rely on it for winter season, it’s not heavy duty one.. you need to pick something heavier for that.
For an Indian brand it is pricey, when they launched it I expected the prices would be slightly lower in contrast to the foreign brands or the quantity provided would be higher. On the other hand, most of the international brands have their hand creams priced around INR 300, what makes Nykaa special then?
Things I like about it-
- Travel friendly
- Paraben free
- Gets absorbed quickly
- Keeps hand soft and nourished for long time
- Non sticky
- Many Variants available
Things I don’t like about it-
- Priced high (Many may skip it as it may go out of budget)
- Not a heavy duty moisturizer
- Cap is tiny, falls quite often 😀
Wrapping it up-
To sum it up, I like using this hand cream(not in winters though). Nykaa Hand Creams are enriched with Avocado, Olive, Almond & Jojoba Oil for Ultimate Nourishment. They absorb quickly without leaving a greasy layer on skin. They are formulated with a Rich Dose of Hyaluronic Acid for anti-ageing effects. You must give them a try if you are willing to shell out INR 275 for a hand cream or maybe buy them on discount, they are often available on 20-30% discount.
