My love for lip-balms is undying and I buy a new lip-balm every few days 😛 . I have seen people sticking to just one lip-balm and using it until finished, but my case is totally opposite. I just can’t keep going with one lip balm for more than 20 days 😀 . No! It doesn’t mean I throw it after that, I keep it aside and use it alternately 🙂 . Today I am reviewing Nivea “Vitamin Shake Cranberry & Raspberry Lip Balm” , read on to know more about it-Price- INR 139/- for 4.8 gmAbout- The innovative marbled formula of NIVEA Vitamin Shake Cranberry & Raspberry Lip Balm with Hydra IQ combines intensive moisture and a blend of fruit extracts with vitamins for a smooth and healthy look with a natural touch of colour.

(As taken from their website)My Take on Nivea Vitamin Shake Cranberry & Raspberry Lip Balm- Most of my purchases are purely name-driven. I read their names, they excite me and I end up buying them 😀 . Everybody love shakes and so do I, I am not a big fan of Nivea lip-balms but the name and the marbled picture on the pack fancied me. It’s priced decently and comes in a cardboard packaging with all product related details which I sadly threw away long back. I love lip-balms with twist-up mechanism for 2 purposes basically i.e. Hygiene and usability. This lip-balm is a blend of cranberry and raspberry fruit extracts and the marbled texture says it all, it looks extremely appealing to eyes 🙂 . It has a mild sweet fragrance and moves smoothly over lips & leaves a light pinkish tint to lips with glossy touch. I don’t mind it leaving light tint because it claims for a natural touch of color only and the lip balm fulfils it. It contains Vitamin C, E and Vitamin pro B5. The moisture it provides is okay-ish and lasts for 2 hours on me, post which re-application is required. It comes with SPF 10 🙂 . What I dislike about this lip-balm is that it didn’t help me deal with chapped lips, and it melts very fast if the temperature is on the higher side 🙁 .
Here’s a swatch 🙂 –What do you think about this lip-balm? Which is your favourite brand when it comes to lip care? Do share with me in the comments below. 🙂
Overall, an average product from Nivea which adds glossy finish to lips with a natural pink hue, but don’t expect much in terms of healing power.
