Hello Everyone! Hope you had a wonderful Diwali 🙂 . With temperature changing I am being more concerned about my skin and I have switched from shower gels to shower creams. This shower cream is not something I have bought recently, it was my last winter’s purchase. I had 1/4th of it left and I was excited to try it again this winter season. The only reason I picked this up was because of the fancy name 😀 ! I put every possible effort in making my bathing experience happy & relaxing and when it read “happy time” I had to try it. Read on to know my review on Nivea Happy Time Shower Cream 🙂 – Price- INR 145/- (I got a free loofah with this, Hurray!!! 😀 )

-Dermatologically approvedIngredients- Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Parfum, Glycerin, Glyceryl Glucoside, Bambusa Vulgaris Leaf/Stem Extract, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil, Sodium Chloride, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Polyquaternium-7, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Citric Acid, PEG-200 Hydrogenated Glyceryl Palmate, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Salicylate, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Limonene, Linalool, Geraniol, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, CI 15985.My take on Nivea Happy Time Shower Cream- This shower cream from Nivea comes at an affordable price, when I bought it there was a free loofah offer with this 😛 . Mostly nivea shower gels come with offers but I am not very sure if the offer is still there or not. The packaging is kept very simple and similar to other nivea shower gels. It has a flip cap but the plastic hinge that attaches it to the bottles looks quite weak, and may break/detach if not handled properly. It’s a treat to orange lovers as it heavily smells of oranges. It’s milky white in color and has a runny consistency as you can see in the picture below-I am using it regularly these days and love how it fills my bathroom with the refreshing aroma of oranges. It foams well and the 250ml bottle lasts for a good time. I use loofah for bathing so my work gets done in less quantity, you can use it without loofah also 🙂 . It cleans skin very effectively and neither dries it out nor gives any kind of stretchy feeling. It leaves a soft and smooth feeling post bath. This shower cream contains bamboo milk which is a wonderful ingredient that keeps skin deeply moisturized. The fragrance lingers on skin for like 2 hours after which it starts fading.
The only bad thing about this shower cream that I could find is that it contains parabens. 🙁Have you tried this shower cream from Nivea? Which shower cream is your favourite ? Do share with me in the comment below 🙂
Overall, I am happy with how it works considering the price, the smells is very refreshing. It lathers well and doesn’t dry out skin. However, dry skinned people can’t skip moisturising their skin post bath (during winters).
