I am truly a fan of the same and have already reviewed Red Splatter and Flower power from the same range on the blog. Today’s review is gonna be on “Lucky Lavender” which is a jelly-based enamel from the same Graffiti range, read on to know more about it-Price- INR 145/-

– Long lasting designs
– Nine different shades
– It’s nail art in a bottleMy Take on Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti Lucky Lavender- It comes in a sturdy tiny cylindrical bottle with a flat brush. The color of the enamel is light lavender and contains lots of orange hexes, tiny orange hexes and white dots. One coat of it goes very sheer on nails and the lavender color doesn’t even show up properly, so a second coat is required. You can apply another coat but that looks bulky and I am afraid to mess it up so I don’t go ahead with the third coat. As per the staying power is concerned, I am truly amazed at how long lasting it is, it can easily last for a week with slight chipping. Removing it is a challenging task 😛 , the whole “Go graffiti” range looks tempting but I am sure everyone who owns even one out of this range would be well-known to the pain they have to go through while removing them off. The whole lavender color and tiny white dots vanishes while removing but the orange hexes turn white and gets too stubborn to come off. I end up scraping the orange-turned-white hexes with my nails. 😛
Here’s my NOTD using Maybelline Go Graffiti Lucky lavender-I won’t say it brightens up my hands on application, but yes it doesn’t make them look dull either. To be honest, I prefer top-coats from this range over the jelly based enamels. I simply love how great they are. This one along with other jelly-based enamels can be a good choice for those who love pastels and do not like to paint their nails with bright colors.
What I like about Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti Lucky Lavender-
- Budget friendly
- Staying power is good
- Doesn’t chip off easily
- Lovely Lavender Shade
- Makes hand look glamorous
- Good choice for those who are not into bright colors.
What I don’t like about Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti Lucky Lavender-
- Removing this graffiti range from nails is like a headache! I end up scraping the left-over particles with my nails 😀
