Every girl reading this post would surely be aware of the Rebel Bouquet collection launched by Maybelline few months back which brought some really amazing top coats and jelly-based enamels to Indian market 🙂 . I have reviewed the GO Graffiti RED SPLATTER from this collection few days before which is a top-coat, and I am back with another top-coat named Flower Power which is a beautiful one indeed. Trying out the Go graffiti Nail enamel in Red Splatter filled me with joy as I loved how brilliantly it enhanced the beauty of my nails in just one coat; also it was light as feather on pocket. I am equally happy writing this review on the other variant from Go Graffiti range. Read on to know more 🙂 –

My Take on Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti Flower Power- This top-coat comes in standard colorshow tiny bottle with regular flat brush and contains clear polish with lots of orange hexes, tiny white hexes, dots and white flowers. While you put the applicator brush inside the bottle for taking out the top-coat, there are very less chances that the flower will also come along, as every time I used it I struggled in taking it out. As far as the staying power is concerned, the top coat can easily stay put for 5-6 days if you are not into household works. Removing this is a very tough task, the moment you’ll start removing it the whole base coat will fade off and also the color of orange hexes will turn out as white BUT the graffiti particles won’t clear up. You need to be a bit careful while applying the flowers because they need to be fixed properly or else they won’t stick with perfection.
Since the hexes, dots and flowers all are in light color, using them on a light colored nail paint won’t do justice to the look this top-coat can actually create, so I used Maybelline’s Colorshow “Blazing blue” as a regular nail-paint and applied two coats of it and then used Go Graffiti Flower power as a top-coat and I was amazed to see how beautiful it turned out.

What I like about Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti Flower Power-
- Budget friendly
- Good staying power
- No chipping for atleast 4-5days
- Many shades to choose from
- Gives an ultra glam look to hands
What I dont like about Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti Flower Power-
- Removing them gives headache
- Taking out the flower from the tiny bottle is bit difficult
I haven’t applied this top-coat directly on nails so far, and probably won’t do it anytime in future, so can’t comment on how they will look on bare nails.
