Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless liquid foundation “128 Warm Nude”- Review and FOTD

I hope you know that Maybelline New York recently launched their much raved Fit me range in India that’s #MadeToFit every skin tone. This range consists of 4 products i.e. Foundation, concealer, pressed powder and blush. Their foundation is available here in 6 shades only which is lesser as compared to their US shade selection. I picked my foundation shade using their shade finder for fair yellow toned skin, and the fit for me according to it was Shade 128 “Warm Nude”. I’ve been using it for a while, let’s get into the review and find out how it actually is-ReviewwaliMaybellineFitmeFoundation001Price- INR 525/- for 30 mlReviewwaliMaybellineFitmeFoundation002About- Get natural and flawless complexion from every angle with Fit Me! It has black colored screw lid which has the shade number and name on top. One thing I love about clear glass bottles is that they make it easy to know the amount of product that’s inside so that I know well in advance when I have to do the repurchase. Sad that it doesn’t come with a pump dispenser 🙁 , it becomes really tough to get the right amount of product directly from the bottle’s mouth. Also, the mouth covered with foundation stains the cap badly and you have to clean it every few days. But just because it doesn’t have pump dispenser doesn’t mean it’s something you can’t travel with, the screw cap is good enough to hold it from spilling and you can easily carry it around in your bag, luggage etc. ReviewwaliMaybellineFitmeFoundation008It’s priced decently compared to other foundations available in market at present. I have read reviews where people call its consistency to be creamy and thick, but honestly for me it’s something in between thick and runny. This shade will be suitable for fair skinned tone girls, but you are overly fair skinned you shall out the next upper shade which is Ivory. I apply it by dotting it on my face for easy spread and to let the foundation cover every bit of my face. I use makeup sponge to blend it but you can work with your fingers as I have tried blending it with them also 😀 . It gives light to medium coverage and helps me cover minor blemishes and redness around my cheeks. As the name, it sets matte and gives a flawless look! I am not really sure of the pore-less effect as they are not my concern. I don’t always use pressed powder over my foundation, and even then it stays intact for 7 hours which I consider to be really good.ReviewwaliMaybellineFitmeFoundation009This foundation is basically meant for normal to oily skinned beauties as mentioned on the packaging as well but if you are dry skinned, you need to give your skin good kick of moisture before putting it on otherwise you’ll end up with visible flakes and rough patches. For dry skin, they have Maybelline Fit Me! Dewy & Smooth Foundation in other countries, hope they launch it here too soon! 🙂

Here’s my FOTD using this foundation-ReviewwaliMaybellineFitmeFoundation0010
