Directions-My take on Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced Up Berry Sherbet- Every time I start getting bore with regular usage of Baby Lips, Maybelline introduces something new (see, they know me so well) 😛 . First the Electro pops and now these Spiced up ones, I mean they have something for everyone. This time they worked on providing the best for Indian Skin tones, and offered tailor-made options for sun-kissed Indian skintones. The lip balm comes packed in cardboard packaging with funky fonts. The tube is color-coded and has a twist up function which works perfectly. The texture is very buttery and glides easily on lips. The fragrance is very fruity-very sweet, It seems familiar but I am not able to recall the thing which has just the same kind of fragrance, otherwise would have surely mentioned. I am glad they kept the basic packaging instead of the electro pops kind, as it needs to be carefully handled. It comes with SPF 20 which is good to keep lips protected while sun exposure. Coming to pigmentation, the lip balm stick looks highly pigmented but it doesn’t come out on lips like that. It leaves a deep tint which is quite reddish in color with a hint of brown, and not like what we see in the stick. The staying power is 3 hours with slight snacking, moisturization stays 2 hours past fading off! So, to keep the tint on lips, re-application is required every few hours.
I have tried 2 out of this range and honestly couldn’t find very much of difference between Tropical punch and Berry sherbet. They are just slightly different; Berry sherbet is bit on the reddish side whereas Tropical punch is on pinkish side. I so wish to get my hands on Spicy cinnamon, I am not a lover of brown shades, but when its Maybelline I don’t think much ! Here’s a swatch of Baby Lips Spiced Up Berry Sherbet- What I like about Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced Up Berry Sherbet-
- Cute packaging.
- Good at moisturizing
- Contains SPF 20
- Very fruity fragrance
- Adds beautiful tint to lips
- Comes in 3 exciting shades
- Contains coconut oil and Vitamin E
What I don’t like about Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced Up Berry Sherbet-
- Wish it actually stayed for 12 hours
- Quite less pigmented
- Berry Sherbet and Tropical punch looks similar (I was expecting a different shade)

This new range has something for everyone, but if you are expecting the pigmentation to be excellent, try electro pops from Maybelline. Otherwise, Being a Baby Lips lover you just can't miss this !
