Lip-balms are needed as much as oxygen for body, I am someone who just can’t survive without lip balm on my lips be it any season. Now that winters are going on, there is no scope of giving lip balms a miss. Tinted lip-balms are my favorite, they add good color to lips along with protecting them from getting chapped. Today, I will be reviewing Maybelline Baby Lips Color Bloom 6H Lip Balm which I am using at the moment. Keep reading to know how I found it to be (Brace up, a picture heavy review post awaits you) – 😀 Price- INR 185/-Shades Available- Peach Bloom, Pink Bloom.About- Give your lips a hint of colour with the Maybelline Color Bloom peach blossom lip balm. Infused with vitamin E and Jojoba oil, this Maybelline lip balm is sure to keep your lips moisturised and nourished all the time. This lip balm is enriched with SPF 16 that protects your lips from the harmful rays of the sun. Whether you are heading to work, college or a date with a special someone, the Maybelline lip smooth color bloom lip balm will make a great addition to your handbag.Ingredients and more-My Take on Maybelline Baby Lips Color Bloom 6H Lip Balm- These lip balms come packed in colorcoded cardboard packaging. The packaging is really appealing, various product related details like product information, price, ingredients and more are mentioned on the back of the pack. Maybelline Baby Lips color bloom comes in Pink and orange sticks with twist-up mechanism and they are available in 2 variants- Pink Bloom and Peach Bloom. The variant name is written on stickers placed at bottom, even if you own both of these you won’t find them confusing because of the color coded packaging. I am head over heels with the sleekness of these lip-balm sticks, they are the sleekest of all the Maybelline Baby lips available (I guess). I loved baby lips Electro pops but I hate the fact that they don’t get inside the tube completely, a part of them keeps sticking outside and it gets ruined by the cap (by the time it’s new and less used). But Baby Lips Color Bloom Lip Balms aren’t like that, they do get inside the case completely 🙂 . Maybelline Baby Lips Pink Bloom comes with white colored balm stick whereas Peach bloom comes with a yellowish stick. Both of them manage to add good flush of color to lips. Maybelline Baby Lips Color Bloom has the goodness of vitamin E and Jojoba oil which helps nourish and protect lips from chapping. They are enriched with SPF 16 which is an added benefit. It goes light on lips and doesn’t feel sticky. As you’ll swipe these over your lips, you will see a clear finish right after application but after few seconds it changes color when it comes in contact with body heat. Pink Bloom has better color pay-off, it kinda pops out whereas Peach Bloom looks more natural. If you over-swipe these lip balms, you may not like the way they look after changing color. If you have dark-lips, I wonder if they’ll show up the way they should. These are very good for college and office goers who are hesitant in applying lipsticks or those who prefer light tint on their lips for everyday wear. I like both of them, but I am pretty biased towards the pink one as it leaves a deeper stain as compared to the peach bloom 😛 . The moisturizing effect stays on lips for around 2 hours but the tint stays there. If you have flaky lips, make sure you exfoliate them before applying this otherwise it will make flakes visible. These do not heal lips effectively, these are good for lip protection (along with color) but not for healing. If you have dry and chapped lips I would recommend you to use the basic baby lips lip balms. They are very effective at healing lips 🙂 .Swatches-After Wiping-off-Have you tried Maybelline Baby Lips Color Bloom 6H Lip Balm? What would be your pick- Pink Bloom or Peach Bloom?
Have a great day ahead! 🙂
