It’s the second month of the year and L’Oreal has already launched few new products in Indian market including the oh-so-hyped L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Gold Obsession Lipstick and L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Gold La Palette . It was just one fine day when I scrolled down nykaa’s “New @Nykaa” section and found out that L’Oreal has launched their micellar water in Indian market for a price quite affordable. The lazy girl inside me loves Bioderma Micelle Solution for it’s quick makeup removal action, so I got really excited when I came to know about the launch of L’Oreal Paris 3-in-1 Micellar Water here. I have been using it for almost 2 weeks now and I am writing below my experience using it, scroll away to read! 🙂 –Price- INR 475/- for 95 mlAbout- With the new L’Oreal Paris Micellar Water, now remove every trace of make-up, dirt, oil & pollution effortlessly and on the go, in just one swipe. Unlike other cleansers, Micellar Water requires no rinsing. Powered by micelle molecules that cluster together to surround and lift away impurities and makeup with no rinsing or harsh rubbing.
-Cleans dirt and impurities.

-Suitable for all skin types. My Take on L’Oreal Paris 3-in-1 Micellar Water- L’Oreal Paris 3-in-1 Micellar Water comes in transparent bottle with light pink colored screw cap. As you’ll unscrew the cap, you’ll see a white plastic stopper placed on the mouth of the bottle. The stopper has a tiny hole that lets you take out the product in a controlled way. The sticker placed on the back of the bottle holds basic product information and ingredients. The bottle contains 95 ml of product, and I find it handy to carry while going out. It is a 3-in-1 Micellar water that claims to Cleanse, Remove makeup and Soothe! Micellar waters/micelle solutions are the best way to makeup removal without the need of rinsing, you just have to use it like your makeup remover without washing off your face (which you can’t avoid while using basic removers). They are water based and moisturizing but don’t leave any oily sheen on skin surface 🙂 .The one that got launched in Indian market is the “moisturizing” one, but they have “refreshing” variant too(not for India at present). Pour some micellar water on cotton pad/ ball and you’re good to go. It takes off non waterproof makeup effectively, and give a good cleansing effect without washing face. The best part about L’Oreal Paris 3-in-1 Micellar Water is that it doesn’t dry out skin and haven’t given me any skin irritation so far 🙂 .I have a love-hate relationship with L’Oreal Paris 3-in-1 Micellar Water. On days when I use basic non-waterproof makeup products, cream-based lipsticks and powder eyeshadows it impresses me by taking away all of it. But it’s a total disappointment when it comes to the removal of eye makeup. On my eyes I mostly use gel liner, gel based eye pencils, smudge-free kohl, waterproof mascara and L’Oreal Paris 3-in-1 Micellar Water turns out to be a dud in removing it. Earlier I thought I am wiping it off very quickly and maybe it’s not working because of the same, then I tried leaving the cotton pad soaked in L’Oreal Paris 3-in-1 Micellar Water for a while before rubbing it, but even then I couldn’t see much difference 🙁 . It removes my waterproof eye makeup from one place and in spite of holding it on cotton, it shifts it to other place, and I totally hate it for that.
Check this for its performance, I have swiped few lipsticks and eyeliners/kohls on my hand-I soaked the cotton round, and let it sit on wrist for few seconds and rubbed it 2 times exerting little pressure and this is what I got 🙁 – Isn’t it annoying? But that’s only for makeup with good hold, if your makeup is not waterproof or matte it will make you happy. A brand like L’Oreal has set our expectations very high and its very disheartening to see their products not living up to expectations. I would stick to Bioderma Micelle Solution, as it’s a winner product for me! A little pricey when compared to this, but the performance is wayyyyy better 🙂 .
Have you spotted it anywhere? What’s your favorite makeup removal product?
