Just Herbs Silksplash Neem Orange Rehydrant Ayurvedic Face Wash- Review

Have you heard of JUST HERBS? They are into paraben and SLES/SLS free products. Well, I got introduced to the brand through their miniatures that were sent out in a fabbag few years back. There was this 6-step mini skincare kit for dry skin which contained face wash, scrub, mask and more and I loved it so much that I ended up buying their full-sized products 😀 . Today, I am reviewing Just Herbs Silksplash Neem-Orange Rehydrant Ayurvedic Face Wash; here’s how it fared 🙂 –Price- INR 445/- for 100 ml

About- An Ayurvedic face wash with the natural goodness of Neem, Chandan (Sandalwood) and Honey. It gently removes the last traces of dust, grime and make-up residue, yet retaining the inherent moisture of the skin. Ayurveda states that Sandalwood is moisturizing and anti-inflammatory, Calendula acts as natural antiseptic and antibacterial agent with sun radiation protective properties. Ayurvedic ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Honey and Orange peel deeply moisturize leaving the skin with an amazing sense of freshness and a velvety sheen all day long.Ingredients- Neem ext.* 0.5%, bitter orange peel 0.5%, aloevera leaf juice* 2%, honey 1%, calendula ext. 0.5%, cucumber ext. 0.2%, chandan ext. 0.1%. aqua, steam distilled sandalwood water, steam distilled orange blossom water, decyl glucoside***, coco amidopropyl betaine, lauryl glucoside, soy lecithin, veg. glycerine*, caprylyl glycol, gluconolactone / sodium gluconate, natural preservative blend of herbs & essential oils, potassium sorbate, citric acid (ph adjuster).

My Take on Silksplash Neem-Orange Rehydrant Ayurvedic Face Wash- It comes housed in a plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. With each spritz balanced amount of face wash comes out, leading to no excess oozing. There is a cap covering the pump, making it apt for carrying during travels also. A label is placed on the bottle, it holds relevant information about the product including the ingredients, directions and manufacturing details. It reads out that the product is made for all skin types, my skin type is dry and it works really well on mine. When applied on wet skin, it lathers up well and clears off all the impurities, traces of makeup (the residues on the skin after makeup removal) very well without drying out my skin. I need to layer up moisturizer because that’s the need for my dry skin which gets stretchy otherwise. It washes off easily without giving me the sticky-slippery feeling on the face.It comes packed with the goodness of neem extracts, orange peel, aloe vera, cucumber, honey, orange blossom water, Chandan extracts and more. It looks honey-like with a thinner consistency(of course) as compared to that 😛 . It smells very orangey, and I love it for that (A citrus sucker, I tell you!). With every use, I feel I am putting something really good on my skin 🙂 . I won’t say that this has made a change in my skin texture and blah blah, but I must say that my skin feels happy and fresh after every wash.Pros-

  • Paraben and SLS/SLES free
  • Smells fantastic
  • Lathers well
  • Rips off impurities from the skin
  • Made from 100% herbal actives
  • Comes with the goodness of neem extracts, orange peel, aloe vera, cucumber, honey, orange blossom water, Chandan and more

Cons-

  • Pricey for a facewash
