Himalaya Herbals Winter Defense Moisturizing Cream- Review

Himalaya Herbals products are very affordable considering other brands available in maket. I love the face masks this brand makes 🙂 , I have been a fan of Himalaya’s Skin Nourishing Cream for last one year, it takes care of my skin very well (except winters). As for winters, I need something heavy that works as food for my skin so that it stops craving for moisturization. I never knew Himalaya Herbals had this cream in their product range until I went to a supermarket nearby and spotted it on my own. I have been using Himalaya Herbals Winter Defense Moisturizing Cream for over 20 days and I think I’ve used it enough to sum-up my overall experience in words. Keep reading to know how it fared 🙂 –reviewwalihimalayacream001Price- INR 125 for 100 ml. Coming to this cream, it can be used by anyone in the house as it isn’t gender-specific. I saw it in 2 sizes-50 ml and 100 ml, the small tub was for INR 75/- and this one was for INR 125/- (as mentioned above). Himalaya Herbals Winter Defense Moisturising Cream comes packed with the goodness of Jojoba oil, wheat germ and almond oil to repair, protect and deeply moisturize the skin. This cream is basically made for dry and extra dry skin type, and thus the texture of this cream is on the thicker side. The ingredients list can be found on bottom of the tub by peeling-off the sticker. This cream comes with white lid which sits on the mouth of tub, now my cream doesn’t create mess on the inner side of lid when I am travelling with it 😀 . reviewwalihimalayacream006My skin type is dry during summers and extra-dry during winters, so I am always on a lookout of  heavy-duty moisturising creams. I use this cream 2 times a day on my face and extra dry areas of body like knees and elbows and I totally love the way it leaves my skin well nourished for 8+ hours. Since it is a winter cream and comes packed with oils, it does leave a slightly oily finish on skin. So every time I use it, I massage it on my face and let it sit for a while before I wipe off the excess with a washcloth. This way, my skin stays well moisturised without looking oily and dull. I am glad I spotted this cream and gave it a try 🙂 .reviewwalihimalayacream007If the night time moisturising cream isn’t heavy, dry skinned people wake-up with itchy skin and dry flakes around nose and mouth. But let me tell you, this cream is a winner for night-time application. I simply love how my skin looks well nourished even after whole night. This 100 ml tub is going to last me for a good long time as a little quantity of it is enough for one usage.

It’s  a wonderful product for dry and extra-dry skin, don’t buy this cream if your skin type is oily.
