Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Pack- Review

Not everybody finds DIYs easy and have the time to perform them, and that’s where these ready-to-apply skincare product come handy! I love makeup but I believe it’s skincare that’s extremely important and comes before anything else. Today, I’ll be reviewing Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Pack. Himalaya is a brand that would be present in almost all the households, and their products fare quite well considering the price tags. Neem is well-known for its amazing skincare benefits and that’s the reason I picked it. Keep reading to know how it fared 🙂 –reviewwalihimalayafacepack001Price- INR 130/- for 100 gmreviewwalihimalayafacepack005About- Himalaya’s Purifying Neem Pack brings together the goodness of Neem, Fuller’s Earth and Turmeric, which work together to regulate excess oil secretion, clean clogged pores and prevent the recurrence of pimples.reviewwalihimalayafacepack002Usage Instructions- Apply Purifying Neem Pack evenly over cleansed face and neck, avoiding the area around the eyes and mouth. Let the mask dry for 10-15 minutes, and remove with a wet sponge or towel. Rinse with cool water. For optimal results, use once a week. reviewwalihimalayafacepack004My Take on Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Pack- This face pack is available in 3 sizes- small sachet, 50 gm and 100 gm, I bought the 50 gm pack to try out first and the experience I had with it made me buy the bigger one 😛 . It comes housed in Himalaya’s standard tube packaging like that of their face washes and peel-offs. The flip-cap is quite sturdy and locks with the sound of a click ensuring no spillage, the tube is soft enough to squeeze with no extra efforts. Basic product information is given right there on the back of the tube. The face pack is green in color and has grainy texture (which helps me use it as a scrub while I am washing it off my face) 😛 . This is basically designed for normal to oily skin type.reviewwalihimalayafacepack003Before I go ahead, let me tell you my skin type is dry and acne just appear occasionally on that (touchwood). I bought it as a regular face pack to try out and had no expectations except pulling out impurities from my skin. I apply it as per the directions, before I put it on I make sure my face and neck are properly cleansed. I shake the tube well before squeezing because there have been few times when I opened the tube and greenish water made its way out of the hole 😛 . I get slight tingling sensation on application which fades as soon as it starts drying, because of the presence of Fuller’s earth it dries up pretty quick. Face feels stretched out when it’s drying up, it takes some time to wash off. I am habitual of washing face masks and not wiping them off with a towel or sponge as I love splashing water on my face 😀 . The presence of tiny granules in this face pack makes it act like mild scrub, so everytime I am washing it I splash some water and start scrubbing in circular motions to exfoliate skin. It doesn’t brighten up my complexion or anything of that sort but it gives me good feeling, my skin feels better every time I use it. It never caused skin itching or redness on me 🙂 .reviewwalihimalayafacepack006If you are someone with oily-skin who gets acne, you should give it a try for the presence of neem and fuller’s earth that helps minimize them. If you have dry/extra dry skin, skin will feel dry post washing it off and you can’t skip moisturizer.
