Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Facewash- Review

We all have used Himalaya Herbals products at some point in our lives. It’s one of those brands that we swear by, it’s the brand that we all have used in our college/school days. We all have used Himalaya Herbals face wash, packs, and scrubs and can blindly trust them. They have got quite a range to make us fall in love with their products. One such product is Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash since I have got a combination to oily skin, I keep on switching to this whenever I feel my skin is getting oily and getting acne and breakouts. Let’s see what I have to say about the product-Price: INR 170 for 200 ml

About- Himalaya’s Purifying Neem Face Wash is a soap-free, herbal formulation that cleans impurities and helps clear pimples. A natural blend of Neem and Turmeric bring together their antibacterial and antifungal properties to prevent the recurrence of acne over time.My Take on Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Facewash- The face wash comes in a plastic transparent bottle with a push nozzle at the top. The packaging is decent as all the information is written at the back of the product. Nothing fancy, the packaging is good. I am not sure whether it’s travel-friendly or not as I haven’t taken it while traveling. The face wash has a gel-based consistency, is light green in color and has a herbal smell to it. It’s neither fruity nor floral, has got this herbal-neem kinda fragrance which is mild and not overpowering. Overall I liked the fragrance, not a huge fan though but you can’t expect a floral fragrance from a neem face wash. LOL.On days when the climate is humid/hot and makes you sweat like a pig, I do have super oily skin those days. You can actually see a film of oil on my T-zone. I use this face wash both in the morning and in the night before going to bed. It lathers quite well and you just require a tiny amount of product for your entire face. It gently takes off all the oil and dirt without leaving my skin dry and scratchy. It makes my skin look fresh and radiant.

Since it has got neem and turmeric that is supposed to work great for acne prone skin. It does remove all the dirt and gunk from your face and reduces the chances of breakouts and acne. The face wash does make your skin fresh and thereby the chances of getting a pimple is reduced down. Overall it’s a good product for everyday use. It’s perfect for teenagers who are prone to acne prone skin due to their age.Pros-

  • Affordable, worth buying and easily available everywhere. This face wash comes in a transparent tube so that it would be easy to find out how much is left in the tube.
  • The fragrance though is not floral/fruity, but the herbal scent is quite good and manageable.
  • Prevents pimples and cures acne breakouts within a few days of usage.
  • No side effects.
  • Herbal and Natural
  • Lathers quite well

Cons-

  • Not sure whether the pump pack is travel-friendly or not.
  • Might not be suitable for dry or extremely dry skin people.
