Firstly I would like to thank Vishakha to let me be a part of Reviewwali and guest post here. 🙂 Today I’m reviewing Himalaya Herbals Anti-Dandruff Shampoo. So let’s get started 🙂 .Price- INR 130 for 200 mlAbout- Himalaya’s Anti-Dandruff Shampoo gently removes dandruff, and nourishes and strengthens hair roots, ensuring a healthy scalp. Natural ingredients help moisturize the hair, preventing dryness. It addresses the root cause of dandruff such as Malassezia fungus and dry scalp, while being gentle on hair. Fortified with herbal ingredients like Tea Tree Oil, Chickpea and Aloe Vera, Himalaya’s Anti-Dandruff Shampoo effectively helps control dandruff and provides nourishment to the hair shaft.Key Ingredients-
-Tea Tree Oil is a known anti-fungal agent which effectively treats dandruff. It moisturizes hair and keeps the scalp free of fungal infections.
-Aloe Vera softens hair and soothes the scalp, helping to alleviate itching.
Shelf Life- 24 months
Directions- Massage gently onto wet hair and scalp. Rinse thoroughly and repeat if necessary.
My Take on Himalaya Anti-Dandruff Shampoo- It comes in a regular white bottle with a green flip cap. The fragrance of the shampoo is mild and pleasant, not being bothersome. The shampoo itself is of runny consistency and light orangey in color. Coming to its working, it doesn’t lathers much if you use a small quantity. If you end up using a good amount, your hair is weigh down. :/ Upon continual usage, you can notice visible effect on dandruff. Dandruff leads to an itchy scalp, but this product works for that too. So it’s quite helpful for dandruff and itchy irritating scalp. It doesn’t provide any nourishment as per it claims. Also it’s not suitable for all hair types, especially oily. Moreover I feel it’ll not be of much help on serious dandruff.Pro’s:
Reduces dandruff and itchy scalp
No paraben and SLES
Not for severe dandruff
Not travel friendly
Not for all hair types
May weigh down your hair
No nourishment as per claims
That’s all for now. If you’ve tried it, do let me know your thought in the comment below.
