garnier micellar cleansing water

Micellar water is like a wish-granted 😛 , your lazy-self asked for an effortless way of makeup removal and beauty brands heard them 😀 . Its usage was popular in US, UK, France already and is now picking up in India and other too. The idea behind micellar water is to remove makeup without the need of rinsing. Micellar technology is about melting makeup with alcohol-free solution, it pulls makeup and oil from the skin gently without irritating it anyway. Garnier launched their Cult-favorite micellar waters in India some 6 months back, I picked both variants available in Indian market. Today, I am reviewing Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water; here’s how it fared 🙂 –Price- INR 349/- for 400 mlAbout- This All-in-1 cleanser is surprisingly powerful yet gentle to the skin. It is specially formulated to effectively cleanse, remove makeup, and refresh skin. Like a magnet, micelles capture and lift away dirt, oil and makeup without harsh rubbing, leaving skin perfectly clean, and refreshed without over-drying.My Take on Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water- Garnier’s Micellar Water is available in 2 sizes- 125ml and 400ml. I picked the big bottle because of its cost-effectiveness, however, I hate the fact I can’t carry it during traveling because it’s too heavy and takes a lot of space in the bag! It is made for all skin types, and even those with sensitive skin can use it. It is fragrance-free, it doesn’t make skin sticky(which many makeup removers do), it doesn’t leave any oily cast on the skin. You simply need to moisten the cotton pad, and place it on your eyes/face for few seconds and gently wipe away without putting pressure. It takes a bit of time to work but melts down makeup effectively without making skin oily or dry. You don’t need to rinse your face after using it, which means it not only removes makeup but also purifies your skin… DOUBLE-ACTION ahan! My skin type is dry and not everything suits it well, but this product goes well with my skin.Well, honestly! It didn’t find it worth the hype! I mostly use long staying, waterproof and matte makeup, and this micellar water doesn’t help me get rid of it effectively. I use gel-based liner on daily basis and I experience difficulty removing it. It’s good for cleaning the traces of everyday kohl, light-colored lipsticks, but I didn’t find it effective for waterproof makeup and dark pigments. If you are reading this, and looking for a good waterproof makeup remover, you better try the other variant of Garnier Micellar Water i.e. Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water.Pros-
