Faces Hydro Makeup Remover- Review

Makeup removal sucks! I love roaming around with makeup on face, but even the thought of wiping if off exhausts me like no other thing. Not only because its time consuming, but because its boring 🙁 . Some people strictly rely on oils for makeup removal (I used to do it too) but I am more inclined towards makeup removers which make the whole task easy. Oils are healthy for skin but the thick oily layer post makeup-removal kinda kills me! I need to wash my face 2 times after using oil, so I am always on a lookout to try something that requires less efforts. Today, I will be reviewing Faces Hydro Makeup Remover which I bought from Aplava ; keep reading to know if it lived up to its claims or not 🙂 –reviewwalifacesremover004Price- INR 399/- (I got it on 20% discount) for 100 mlreviewwalifacesremover002About- This gentle, water based formula works quickly and gently removes face and other makeup. It is an excellent antioxidant agent which prevents skin from free radicals & improves tone to give you a perfectly cleansed & rejuvenated face.reviewwalifacesremover003Ingredients-reviewwalifacesremover001Usage Instructions- Swipe over with a cotton pad and wait for a few seconds, then wipe gently downwards. Follow with Faces Hydro Cleanser & Toner for a perfectly cleansed face.reviewwalifacesremover006My Take on Faces Hydro Makeup Remover- I’ll start off with the packaging, Faces Hydro Makeup Remover comes inside turquoise colored cardboard packaging. The outer box contains all the necessary details about the product including basic information, ingredients, instructions etc. Inside lies the semi-transparent bottle that contains light green colored liquid, it comes with a white spray nozzle. The bottle is really sturdy and the cap fits tightly, there’s no scope of product spillage for sure. Faces Hydro Makeup Remover bottle contains the exact same information on its back as the outer pack, so in case you throw it off you have all the details along.reviewwalifacesremover005reviewwalifacesremover008It contains chamomile extract, rosemary extract, green tea extract and aloe vera extract making this makeup remover rich in antioxidants. Since it’s water based, oily skinned girls might find their HG makeup remover here. I am mostly a kajal-and-lipstick-only-girl, so on days I am wearing less makeup 2 pumps suffice. But on days I go overboard with concealer, foundations, blush, highlighter I quite need more of it (of course). Many makeup removers in the market comes with chemical-like fragrance but this one has got lovely fragrance. I go ahead in the same way as instructed, I keep the moist cotton pad on skin for few seconds before I start wiping off so that it breaks down my makeup effectively. It clears off my makeup effortlessly in barely few seconds, without leaving any oily cast on skin. Be it matte lipstick or gel-liner, faces Hydro Makeup Remover clears it off nicely (may require little extra efforts, but melts it down). During eye makeup removal it never stings my eye, also it never caused skin redness of rashes, which makes it repurchase-worthy for me. I hope by looking at the amount of remover left, you can simply make out how much I loved it 😛 .reviewwalifacesremover007reviewwalifacesremover009Here’s how it performs- I swatched 4 lipsticks on my hand (3 regular, 1 liquid) , 2 pumps of Faces Hydro Makeup Remover on a cotton pad and wiped it off. I was pretty quick while swiping the cotton, and didn’t keep the moist pad on skin but even then it worked well. I worked with a light hand, colourpop ultra mattes are stubborn (one swipe couldn’t break it down), but the other lipstick swatches were clear to a good extent even with one swipe. Ignore the watery finish you see on second picture as I took the picture immediately after swiping cotton and flash made it look like that 😛 .reviewwalifacesremover0010reviewwalifacesremover0011Have you used Faces Hydro Makeup Remover?
