Hola Beauties! Winters have reduced their intensity and it’s quite relaxing these days here in Rajasthan. In day time, there are no chilly winds but at night it gets really tough. Meanwhile, what suffers is my skin! I am always on a lookout of trying something new for my skin keeping it healthy amidst seasonal changes. Remember my post about Ethicare Hydrofil cream? What I am reviewing today is Ethicare Hydrofil emollient lotion, keep reading to know how it fared 🙂 –Price- INR 132/- for 100 mlAbout- Hydrofil is a specially formulated moisturizer, which helps to replenish skin’s moisture and protective lipid barrier with advanced non-comedogenic ingredients. Its lotion base formula which gives it excellent spread ability so easy to use on whole body. Hydrofil contains phospholipid – lecithin, a natural substance found in all living cells, that helps reconstitute the deficient hydrolipidic film of the skin. Vitamin-E in Hydrofil keeps your skin soft and supple by promoting epithelialisation. Hydrofil also contains Aloevera and Bees wax- the natural trusted and time tested moisturizers. Light liquid paraffin and Silicon oil in Hydrofil creates occlusive film to seal the moisture into the skin. Propylene glycol in Hydrofil is trusted humanctant which absorbs moisture from atmosphere. To obtain best results, use Hydrofil lotion regularly.
Ingredients-Hydrofil lotion is available in pack of 100 ml, 400 ml. It is used for dry and scaly skin, excellent for the hands, feet, elbows and knees this requires extra moisturizer, dry skin associated with eczema and psoriasis. My Take on Ethicare Hydrofil Emollient Lotion- Hydrofil Emollient Lotion from Ethicare Remedies comes housed in pink colored cardboard packaging. The back of the packaging holds the required information about product, price, what goes inside it and other manufacturing details. Inside comes the white plastic bottle with red labelling, it is extremely handy and fits in my palm easily. Small packs are great for travelling purpose as you can throw them in small spaces. It comes with a flip-top cap which shuts tightly ensuring no product spillage. The price of the lotion is kept very affordable; it’s available in 2 sizes i.e. 100 ml and 400 ml.It can be used by both men and women. It smells very similar to Hydrofil Emollient Cream, but the consistency is what differs. The cream has thick creamy formula however; this lotion has body milk kind of consistency. Just few efforts and it sink into skin completely, it’s not a lotion that sits on the outer surface of skin but goes deep inside 🙂 . It contains the goodness of Aloevera, Beeswax and Vitamin E. One issue we usually have with body lotions is that they leave oily cast or sticky feel on skin post application, this one is not of that category. It feels really light on skin, but the hydration it provides stays on for good long time. If you have dry flaky skin, you have to give it a try and see the results all by yourself. This is basically made for dry skin, and it does the moisture providing job effectively. For winters this is a good product because of the richness in formula, but for summers it would be heavy on skin. Also, the fragrance might be a con for some. Here’s a swatch-
Overall! A good lotion which is priced affordably, gets into skin quickly without leaving oiliness and greasiness on skin surface. It contains the goodness of Aloevera, Vitamin E, bees wax which are extremely good for skin. I don’t have any skin problem luckily, so can’t really say how it will perform on dry skinned people with eczema and psoriasis.
