Hello girls, I have reviewed a lot of body lotions on the blog already, it’s time for a cream review. So, today I am reviewing Ethicare Hydrofil Emollient cream for hydrating feel, keep reading to know how it fared 🙂 –About- Hydrofil cream is a specially formulated moisturizer cream with excellent spread ability, which helps to replenish skin’s moisture and protective lipid barrier with advanced noncomedogenic ingredients. Hydrofil contains phospholipid – Lecithin, a natural substance found in all living cells, that helps reconstitute the deficient hydrolipidic film of the skin. Hydrofil also contains aloevera and bees wax- the natural trusted and time tested moisturizers. Vitamin E in Hydrofil keeps your skin soft and silicon oil in Hydrofil creates occlusive film to seal the moisture into the skin. Propylene glycol in Hydrofil is trusted humactant, which absorbs moisture from atmosphere. To obtain best results, use Hydrofil cream regularly.
Comes in 3 sizes- 50gm, 150gm and 500gmPrice- INR 190/- for 150gmIngredients- Lecithin, Aloevera, Silicone oil, Propylene glycol, Light liquid paraffin, Bees wax, Vitamin-E AcetateMy Take on Ethicare Hydrofil Emollient Cream For Hydrating Feel- This cream from Ethicare comes in red colored tube with silver colored screw cap. The tube is fat and it’s very soft in nature, so squeezing product out is hassle-free. The opening of the tube has a tiny hole which dispenses the right amount of product for each usage. Price and details regarding it are mentioned on the crimp and back of the tube. The cream is white in color and consistency of the product is on thicker side. The smell is slightly different, and for some it might be a con. It takes a while for the product to blend into skin completely, best is that it doesn’t leave greasy feeling on top.It really came to rescue when my knees and elbows got dry due to harsh winds, such body parts require hell lot of moisture and this cream really gave me what my skin wanted. It vanished all those dry patches I have always been worried about. I haven’t used it on face so far, I use it for moisturizing the rough areas only. Considering the results, price of the product is really very affordable. If you are hunting for a heavy duty skin moisturizer, you should definitely consider it. For oily skinned people it might be heavy on skin due to its hydrating and moisturizing properties.
Take a look at the swatch here-
Overall, a decently priced product that is like a savior to dry skinned people like me. Go for it if you are embarrassed of dry flakes on skin or looking for a rich moisturizer to hydrate your skin. Not a product for oily-skinned people.
