Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream- Review

“Hangnails” the tiny piece of skin around nails is usually a result of excessive nail-biting or extremely dry hands. Not only they are a bad sight but also they hurt like anything! Also, “Dry Hands” (let the reason be any) is a sign of poor skin care. The best way to prevent both of them is to give proper care to hand moisturization. Just like your hair and facial skin, hands need TLC too. If you are into skin care/lip care, I am sure you must have heard of the Iconic Beeswax Lipbalm from Burt’s Bees. I heard of a highly promising product from their house for cuticle care called Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream and started using it. I’ve used it enough to share my experience with you all, here’s how it fared 🙂 –Price- $6 for 0.6 oz/ 17 gmAbout- Give your cuticles some TLC. Specially formulated, this buttery cream taps Sweet Almond Oil and Cocoa Seed Butter to moisturize and soften your cuticles while Vitamin E and Sunflower Oil nourish brittle nails. Feel pampered and polished from tips to toes.
• Moisturizes and softens cuticles with Sweet Almond Oil and Cocoa Seed Butter
• Nourishes brittle nails with Vitamin E and Sunflower Oil
• Fresh Lemon ScentMy Take on Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream- This cuticle cream comes housed in a basic tin container and is available in 2 sizes- o.3 oz and 0.6 oz. The bottom of the container holds relevant information about this cream including ingredients, usage instructions, batch no. and all that stuff. Burt’s Bees products are 100% Natural and they don’t test on animals 🙂 . The cream comes packed with the goodness of cocoa seed butter, beeswax, rosemary leaf extracts, sweet almond oil, lemon peel oil, sunflower seed oil and few other oils.  I can’t get over the way it smells, the scent of fresh lemons is noticeable for hours after application. It has thick wax-like texture, which gets inside the skin easily on massaging for few seconds.  You need just a bit of it for each application, thus the container lasts for a good long time. It softens the skin quickly, and what I like the most about it is that it doesn’t wash off entirely post hand-wash means it goes deep inside the skin. For visible results in a short span of time, you need to apply it 3-4 times a day on regular basis. Follow it religiously for 5-6 days, you’ll start witnessing results 🙂 . To check its efficacy against heeling dry and cracked heels, I even tested it there on regular basis 😛 and the results it gave me were amazing! I could notice a good improvement in my heels, so you dare not underestimate this brilliant product as it’s way more than a cuticle cream 🙂 . Pros-

  • Works wonderfully on heels too
